Orley Family
History

   My name is David Orley, born to George Orley of Belvedere, who was born to John Orley of West Ham, who was born to Samuel Orley of Beer, Devon. I am also related to the Maynard family of Belvedere, Kent - my stepfather was Arthur Maynard (Orley).
   I am  researching my family history and have set up this site in the hope that descendents of West Ham/Woolwich Orleys, including those in Australia, may wish to share information about the Orley families.
   My research includes Census data relating to the Beer/Seaton Orleys and also to the families who later settled in North Woolwich. I am in contact with cousins both here and in Australia and have gained a lot of email details about the Orley family. I have also researched into the Orley/Maynard connection.
   The History (or next) link provides just a brief look into the families past. I am happy to share the results of my research with other family members.
